Pottery Learning Opportunities
Many people would like to try the potter’s wheel to see what it is like. Tricia offers an opportunity for those folks. She demonstrates first and then coaches them thru the process for a $40 fee. If you would like to keep your finished piece, Tricia will glaze it in your chosen colors and you can pick it up in the future.
She also offers private/small group lessons(4-10 people) using hand building techniques such as slabwork, pinch pots and coiling @ $40.00/ per person. Some favorite projects are slab built coffee mugs, toad/fairy houses and wall pouches. We would be happy to schedule a private pottery experience for you with your family and friends. You can bring refreshments to make it even more fun! This experience actually includes 2 classes so you can come back and glaze your work after it has been bisque fired. Woodturning Learning Opportunities
Paul had been teaching woodturning for over 40 years here at the studio. He has demonstrated at International woodturning symposiums and taught at craft schools and at woodturning clubs around the country. He is available by the day or half day to work with turners of any skill level. He supplies all tools and materials. He will focus on whatever aspect you are interested in learning.
